Mayrhofen ski holidays are perfect for those adrenaline junkies looking for some thrills as there are tons of challenging slopes, most popular of which being the Harakiri – a slope which holds the record for the steepest groomed piste in Austria with a gradient of 78%. The off-piste slopes are also quite popular amongst well-seasoned skiers as the terrain offers the slopes much variety making for exciting runs. There are also 22 kilometres of varied black runs which should be enough to keep all skiing enthusiasts busy.

If you're a beginner, then don't fret, the Mayrhofen ski resort has a ton of brilliant ski schools all with competent and capable instructors. There are also many kilometres of beginner and nursery slopes or if you're up for it, hone your skills on one of the 75 intermediate ski runs in the ski area. If skiing isn't your thing, you'll still have plenty to do at the Mayrhofen ski resort as there is a very vibrant many other different winter activities to take part in such as snow tubing, tobogganing and even sleigh rides - you could even visit Zellberg or Finkenberg, 2 reasonabley close-by towns. The night life isn't too shabby either with many clubs, bars and restaurants with their own unique Austrian twist on Apres-ski culture which many tourists on Mayrhofen ski holidays can't get enough of!
