Jackson Holiday rentals - get in touch with nature
With a holiday rental Jackson, you're within easy reach of both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, as well as the ski resorts of Snow King and Jackson Hole.
Exploring National Parks
The awe-inspiring landscape of Grand Teton is enough to warrant an excursion there, but if you enjoy hiking, climbing, biking, horse riding or fishing, you'll love it even more. You can also spot all kinds of wildlife, like moose, bison and elk.
Yellowstone National Park is among one of the most famous landmarks in the United States, and with good reason. It is home to Old Faithful geyser - one of the most predictable geysers on the planet, it erupts roughly every 63 minutes – as well as most of the rest of the world's geysery, and, like Grand Teton, stunning scenery, varied activities, and lots of wildlife. When you holiday in a Jackson holiday rental, you're under half an hour from Grand Teton, and under two hours from Yellowstone.
Also worth a visit is Granite Creek and Granite Hot Springs, particularly if you've had a few days skiing and are in need of deep relaxation. In the winter, the springs are only accessible via dog sled or snowmobile, which makes for a great day out.
Ski resorts near Jackson
Snow King is conveniently located in the town itself, so your holiday rental Jackson will be less than 1.5 miles from the lifts. Snow King is one of the oldest resorts in the USA, and thanks to its challenging pistes, national and international teams like to train there. Snow King offers night skiing from Tuesdays until Saturdays.
While it does have a wider range of easy to intermediate pistes, the world-famous Jackson Hole is also home to some of the most challenging runs in America, including one of the continent's most famous expert-level runs, Corbet's Couloir. Jackson Hole's great piste selection is complemented by six snowboard parks. Jackson Hole is a 20 minute drive from holiday rentals in Jackson, in Teton Village. Other ski resorts in the vicinity include Alta, Utah, and Big Sky, Montana.
