Other neighbourhoods worth looking around include Park Slope - home to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, as well as boutiques and restaurants on Brooklyn's 5th Avenue - and Brooklyn Heights, where you'll find Brooklyn Bridge Park and Brooklyn Heights promenade, which offers fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline. Just like in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, or Berlin, it's a great idea to rent a bike during your stay. The subway system is fairly extensive, but you can see so much more on two wheels.
