Big Sky holiday rentals - Montana's finest skiing
Combined with the neighbouring Moonlight Basin, there are over 5,700 acres of skiable terrain, and almost 300 named runs, but the resort in comparison is pocket sized – with a Big Sky holiday rental you are guaranteed to be in a great location, and save some money. Like many other large ski resorts in the Rocky Mountains, such as Aspen, Jackson Hole and Vail, a high percentage of the slopes are rated expert – the top half of Lone Peak is particularly hair-raising – but there is also plenty for beginner and intermediate skiers, and six terrain parks to keep snowboarders entertained. There's something for everyone when you opt for a holiday rental in Big Sky. For a break from skiing, try going cross country, or take a dog sled or snowmobile tour. Once you've come down off the slopes, its not unusual to unwind in the comfort of your Big Sky holiday rental, but some great alternatives in town are Chet's Bar, The First Place Pub, or Broken Spoke. Big Sky isn't far from Yellowstone National Park – a true bucket list destination. There's plenty to see and explore in the summer, but the magic of the park in the winter snow is unbeatable. Just the other side of the park are Teton Village - home of the famous Jackson Hole - and Jackson, where you'll find the excellent Snow King resort.
