We stayed in a holiday home and it was just perfect. The house was very well maintained and the landlords were very friendly and helpful. We then spent 1 day in Miami and can recommend the Hopp On Hopp Off tour by bus. You pass every sight and can stay in one place as long as you like. The trip to Key West was also well worth it. The journey there alone was wonderful. There were great people and great restaurants. There was also a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere where you quickly forgot the daily routine at home when you were sitting outside in the sun and people were playing music on the street.
Miami is a must-see. You definitely have to visit the Everglades. Sea World was also fantastic. Walt Disney is also a must
