The Blues Festival and Ealing Film Festival also contribute to Ealing’s yearly celebration of the arts. The North Star by Ealing Broadway station also hosts live music every week and the area across the road from the station holds a magnificent Blue Plaque marking the site of the important Ealing Jazz Club, where famously The Rolling Stones first met. Down the Uxbridge road in Hanwell, one Jim Marshall pioneered new amplifiers which would fuel the Rock revolution and become an iconic brand at the heart of a hallmark of British culture. If you want to visit the Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush, you can easily reach your destination in just half an hour.

Ealing is a particularly ideal place to rent a holiday home as it offers a compromise between a quieter suburban experience and convenience of location, situated just 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport on the Piccadilly line, you can take the Central Line from Ealing Broadway or hop back on the Piccadilly line at Northfields and South Ealing and find yourself in the city centre within just half an hour.
