Enjoy a holiday in the south of Lanzarote with Playa Blanca villas
Playa Blanca is the most southern town of Lanzarote. It was once a small fishing village but in the last few years it has developed to be one of the most popular resorts on the island. Montaña Roja overlooks the town and you can take a walk around the crater: it offers great views when you get to the top. If heights aren't your thing, you can relax on one of the beaches near to your Playa Blanca apartments. They are great for family holidays because the beaches are sheltered which means ideal conditions for swimming and sunbathing. For a spot of lunch to take a break from the sun, there are some delicious seafood restaurants on the promenade. The Marina Rubicón near to your Playa Blanca villas is a popular attraction and brings you upmarket restaurants as well as boutique shops and an arts and crafts market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
Fantastic water sports opportunities from your Playa Blanca apartments
Water sports are always popular in this town, especially diving at Cala Blanca, which offers individual diving and also diving courses. The boat, Catalanza, is also a great way to explore the sea and will drop it's anchor at Papagayo Bay, where you can enjoy lunch, go jet skiing, snorkelling or just sun yourself on the deck. Playa Blanca villas aren't far from the port where ferries sail to Fuerteventura so that you explore even more of the Canary Islands.
