The weekend on La Palma exceeded my expectations. Beautiful landscapes, a great climate and warm weather, while in Germany it's approaching winter at the same time in November. I particularly enjoyed the e-bike tour, which we did through the mountains, travelling from viewpoint to viewpoint. There are great restaurants on every corner and everything is easily accessible by hire car, e-scooter or bus. I have to say that the few days were not enough for me. You should plan to spend a week here. A recommendation from me!

Highligts

The hike along the impressive edge of the caldera offered breathtaking views of the volcanic landscape. A visit to the Roque de los Muchachos observatory gave us a glimpse into the infinite expanse of the starry sky. We found pure relaxation on the idyllic black sand beaches of Puerto Naos.

Hidden gems

A detour to the hidden Mirador El Time viewpoint rewarded us with an uninterrupted view of the island's green valleys. The restaurant "El Jardín Secreto" in Los Llanos surprised us with exquisite Canarian specialities - a culinary highlight.

This trip is suitable for couples of all ages who love nature, as well as for families who want to experience adventures together. La Palma offers something for everyone - from relaxing days on the beach to exciting hikes.

The trip to the Canary Islands was really great. It's such a beautiful place, right by the sea. Unfortunately, we were there in February, so we couldn't go swimming. My favourite part was all the high cliffs, the view was simply breathtaking. The town with its numerous shops was also really nice. We often ate at our accommodation. In the evening, we usually went to a bar or a club. On my next trip, I wouldn't come again in winter, but rather in summer.

There are many different shops for shopping. You can also go swimming in the sea. You can also hire boats and then go out on them. There are great bars and clubs

There are many beach bars that you don't see straight away. Many people don't know about the boats either.

We liked the green mountains in the north of the island best. We went hiking on La Palma. It was our first time in the Canary Islands and such a beautiful holiday. We could see Tenerife from our flat. In the evening we drove to Santa Cruz in our hire car and had a delicious meal. WLAN worked perfectly at the airport. We would recommend La Palma to others.

La Palma is the green island of the Canary Islands. It's great for hiking. But we were also able to relax on the beach. Santa Cruz is the island's main port and is highly recommended for its culture.

Take a guided tour of the city of Santa Cruz. Hiking in the mountains with a view of the Atlantic is also great.
