We spent our time on the Costa Brava in Santa Susanna. All in all, we can say that the local people were mostly very unfriendly. We liked the local beaches, but they were nothing special. Unfortunately, the sea was full of jellyfish, some of which were poisonous or dangerous. This took some of the fun out of swimming. What we really liked was the town of Blanes, it was very beautiful and culturally outstanding. Unfortunately, the local food was mostly poor and always below average for the money. Travelling by train was relatively easy, but buying tickets was very complicated.
On my next trip, I would try to choose a place with better restaurants.
