The Hague is located north of Rotterdam on the west coast of the Netherlands. It is a typical large city with a distinctive city centre that invites you to take a stroll. A particular highlight is The Hague's pier. It has a slight touch of the typical piers from the USA. It is easy to reach by tram from the city centre, as the walk is quite long. There are many beautiful parks to see along the way. The pier itself is very touristy. You have the opportunity to sit down and relax in one of the countless beach bars.

The Hague is a lovely place to relax for a few days. There are lots of good restaurants where you can eat well and enjoy the sunset in the evening. There are lots of attractions and you won't get bored. It's really great for a few days. Scheveningen is a great place
You can ride the Ferris wheel. You can go on a bike tour and explore the town. There are shopping options that are very different. You can go bungee jumping next to the Ferris wheel, over the water
At lunchtime, you can eat delicious cakes. In the evening you can have a great meal on the beach, enjoy the sunset and relax.

My husband and I were in Scheveningen, The Hague, for 2 days with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend. Once we arrived, we were able to explore the fantastic sandy beach, where there were numerous shells and a fascinating sea foam formed along the sea. The pier with the huge Ferris wheel in the background was also very impressive, especially when the sun went down. Really, really beautiful! There is a kilometre-long promenade along the beach with restaurants, street food stalls, Legoland and Seaworld. So even if the weather is bad, there are plenty of things to do. Other sights also crossed our path, such as the large red lighthouse and the two small lighthouses in red and green. A cool highlight of our trip was that you could hire scooters there (similar to the e-scooters in Germany) via an app, which meant that we could simply cycle back the long distances we had walked in a short time. Definitely a lot of fun! All in all, this short holiday was really great and can be recommended. We will definitely be back in the summer so that we can really enjoy the sea.
