Tremezzina holiday villas
Tremezzina is a group of villages – Lenno, Ossuccio, Mezzegra, Azzano, and Tremezzo – on the western shore of the stunning Lake Como in northern Italy. Tremezzina apartments are great for holidaymakers who want to experience the beauty of the lake, without the crowds of Bellagio or Como.
One of the most popular activities when you have a villa Tremezzina is walking. The hills surrounding the commune provide great and sometimes challenging hiking routes. Varenna, a village across the lake that is accessible by ferry, and its neighbour Perledo, are some more top hiking spots. The most famous attraction in the commune is Villa Carlotta, a grand 17th century villa and museum with a fantastic art collection and botanic gardens. The 18th century Villa del Balbianello, on the tip of a wooded peninsula, also has lovely, elaborate gardens, and the Chiesa di San Lorenzo is a beautiful church, perched on the lakeside, that is worth a visit.
