I went on a wellness holiday in Tegernsee, on Lake Tegernsee. There was a wonderful view over the lake. I took a day trip to Rottach, where there are very nice little shops to take home a souvenir. Lake Tegernsee is lovely to walk around, but I would recommend a car to see the whole lake. The only downside is the busy roads, there is a lot of congestion.

In my opinion, you should definitely visit Lake Tegernsee at least once. From my own experience, I can say that it's an excellent place to switch off after a stressful week at work. The landscape with the lake and mountains creates a relaxed, idyllic atmosphere. There are numerous restaurants where you can enjoy a first-class meal. However, it must be said that it is an expensive, exclusive area. You should be prepared for expensive restaurant and bar visits. Still worth a trip!

Lake Tegernsee is a beautiful place. The natural surroundings are extremely peaceful and you can relax very well. It's an excellent place to go horse riding. The combination of lake and mountains is truly unique.

A very beautiful place with lots of views and good weather. I've been there several times and enjoy hiking by the lake or in the surrounding mountains. The village has a few beautiful houses, but no well-known sights. The natural cheese dairy is very exciting, especially the guided tour you can take there. The Bräustüberl restaurant is also very tasty and well-known. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

Lake Tegernsee invites you to relax and unwind. There is so much to do here. Whether it's a hike, a stroll through the town or a boat trip on the lake. You will get your money's worth here. Thanks to the many restaurants and cafés, there is something for everyone here. If you prefer things a little quieter, head to Bad Wiessee. There's more going on in Tegernsee and Rottach. My favourite part was the trip on the Wallberg cable car. You can still walk and spend a lot of time up on the mountain.
