Holiday rentals List - a Sylter fishing village
In the north west corner of Germany you'll find one of their most popular holiday destinations, the island of Sylt, home to the country's most northerly parish, List. A little further away from the main villages of Westerland and Kampen, List is well known not for being a celebrity hotspot, but for fishing and seafood, boating and watersports. List holiday rentals are certainly the best way to experience and get to know this charming village.
List has beaches on both the east and the west side of the island where you can swim, sunbathe and relax in one of Sylt's typical “Strandkorb” beach baskets. The village is a great place to find excellent fresh fish and seafood, including Sylter oysters and mussels. You can even buy some and prepare them at home in your List holiday rental.
Dog friendly holidays
If you like to bring your dog on holiday with you – book a holiday rental List. They'll just love walks across the dunes and meadows, and are welcome on sections 17 and 19 of the beach. More dog friendly areas can be found south of List, in Kampen, Westerland, and Rantum. There is a ferry from List direct to the peaceful and quiet Danish island of Rømø, a great place to take your dog on an outing. South of Sylt, you'll find the islands of Föhr and Amrum, both of which are great for dogs too.
