Located 43 miles away from the city of Mannheim and 51 miles away from Stuttgart, you can find the city of Karlsruhe. This city is in the South West of Germany in Baden Württemberg near the French-German border. Close to the heavily German influenced city of Strasbourg, a holiday here is great any time of the year to visit. Whilst staying in Karlsruhe accommodation, one of the must see sights is definitely the Karlsruhe Palace. Found in the beautiful Botanischer Gardens in the heart of the city, the entire city has been built around the palace since its erection in 1715. Karlsruhe is extremely scenic, as is the nearby spa town of Baden-Baden. Located on the banks of the River Rhine, it is also a great holiday destination for recuperation and relaxation.
