Prenzlauer Berg apartments - Berlin's artist quarter
Prenzlauer Berg is a neighbourhood in the north of Berlin, bordered by Mitte and Friedrichshain in the south, Wedding in the west, and Pankow in the north. Traditionally home to artists, students and alternative types, now you'll find bright and airy Prenzlauer Berg apartments surrounded by independent clothing stores, coffee shops and cafés, as well as galleries and museums.
With an apartment Prenzlauer Berg, you'll find plenty to do during the day and at night. One of the most popular spots in the neighbourhood is the Kulturbrauerei, or culture brewery, a protected 18th century building complex that now hosts clubs, theatres, bars, and more (but no brewery). Simply walking around the area, you'll see plenty of street art, as well as green spaces such as the Volkspark and the Mauerpark, Kollwitzplatz and Helmholtzplatz, and you're sure to fall in love with the charming area. Schönhauser Allee, Eberswalderstraße and Kollwitzstraße all have great bars and pubs and are buzzing with students and other locals in the evenings.
Thanks to the great public transport connections in the area, Prenzlauer Berg apartments are also very convenient for getting to the rest of the city; it's just minutes to Mitte, Friedrichshain, and Kreuzberg.
