Warnemünde Reviews
Customer feedback gathered via Cimenio
We were on holiday in Warnemünde in July 2021. We had a nice little holiday flat, reasonably priced, with very friendly landlords. The Baltic Sea is of course always worth a visit. The nature is very beautiful, you can make very nice bike tours always along the sea. The ghost forest and the tea pot are worth seeing. We also visited the lighthouse. The harbour is worth a visit. Several cruise ships call at Warnemünde every day. A tour of the harbour is also very nice and informative. The beaches are very beautiful and clean. Of course, the Baltic Sea is a somewhat more expensive affair, not quite cheap, but worth a trip.

I spent a week in Warnemünde in 2019. The place is really beautiful. The harbour is large and impressive. I also climbed the lighthouse, from where you could see for miles. There are lots of places to eat and drink and ice cream parlours. The transport links are also very good. It is very crowded, but that is understandable. Highly recommended for all beach fans.

We travelled to Warnemünde with Flixbus and had a pleasant and relaxing time for two. What we liked best was the rich and delicious food at the old river in Warnemünde Werft. We would love to come back, even if the WLAN was not included. We will come back to this beautiful Baltic seaside resort. It's not so crowded in winter, as a tip. A day ticket is recommended.
We had some relaxing days at the Baltic Sea. Very nice promenade for walking. The weather was mixed. Warnemünde has great restaurants, especially on the Alter Strom.
Eat at the Alter Strom in the evening. Then enjoy the sunset on the beach. We also recommend a trip to the cliffs.
Good connection to long-distance transport with local buses.

Quiet location

We were actually only in Warnemünde and it was really nice. We wanted to get out of the big city and relax a bit and Warnemünde is really worth it. It's still in Germany and, unlike the other cities, it's not overcrowded. I would really recommend it again and again and we go there more often. It's not really expensive by train either.
We were there, mainly to go into the water, and it was really breathtakingly beautiful, you don't have to leave the land directly to go to the water.
The place is an insider tip, enough people always go there.
It is very nice and not overcrowded.

Wellness and relaxation
Rostock Warnemünde is a very varied place that offers many high-quality holiday options, such as the opportunity to practice various water sports like kitesurfing or a climbing hall in Warnemünde. In summer, the large shopping street on the promenade invites you to take a stroll and gives you a very pleasant feeling. However, it is usually very crowded in summer, which is why the beautiful natural surroundings fade into the background. Another negative thing we noticed is that there are often lots of seagulls flying around on the beach and literally pouncing on everything edible. Caution is advised here.
Climbing in the DockInn, swimming, relaxing and windsurfing in Warnemünde were great.
The Leucvt Tower is a great place to take photos in front of ships.
Relaxed area that has a lot of variety to offer.
