In contrast the Ludwigsburg Pumpkin festival at the end of the Summer fills the Baroque Palace with a sea of ochre sculptures made out of varieties of Pumpkin you didn’t even know existed!
Stuttgart is served by its own airport making travel to and from the area straightforward and relatively low in price and is an excellent choice for a mixture of an exciting city break and the delights of a rural excursion.
