I had a fantastic time in Füssen. The old town is charming and I was totally impressed by Neuschwanstein Castle. The view from the Marienbrücke bridge was breathtaking. The nature around Füssen is also beautiful, perfect for hiking. The local cuisine is delicious and the people are very friendly. An unforgettable visit that I would recommend. On the negative side, hikes are of course weather dependent and due to the fame of the castle, Neuschwanstein Castle is very well visited and you have to be prepared for crowds of tourists.

In Füssen, I was particularly impressed by Neuschwanstein Castle with its breathtaking architecture. The old town with its historic buildings and narrow streets offered a wonderful ambience for walks. The surrounding nature, with its mountains and views, was ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking. The friendly locals and the delicious Bavarian cuisine made my stay perfect all round.

Off the beaten track, it is worth visiting the Lech Falls in Füssen, a natural spectacle with impressive views. We also recommend a hike to the Alpsee, which provides relaxing moments with its tranquil atmosphere and crystal clear water.

Füssen has a beautiful old town centre with many cafés, small boutiques, a market hall and restaurants serving Bavarian delicacies. Füssen is surrounded by fabulous forests, a river with crystal-clear water and views of the mountains. The paths are signposted and accessible for children. There is also an adventure playground on the Lech. The castles can be reached by car in 6 minutes. A public bus runs regularly. The best time to visit is towards the end of the afternoon.

Füssen is an absolute must for every nature lover. Neuschwanstein Castle alone is worth a visit. As the castle is very famous, you will see many tourists here. The lakes in Füssen are also worth a visit and invite you to relax. In the evening, you can enjoy the culinary delights in Füssen and savour the good German cuisine. Unfortunately, the prices are not cheap. Füssen is easy to explore on foot.

Neuschwanstein Castle is well worth a visit. Many beautiful lakes to discover.

The destination is bursting with pure nature and is a must for nature lovers.

A very beautiful city, especially the old town centre. Interesting houses, historic buildings and retail shops. Unfortunately, there were sometimes cyclists travelling too fast and you had to be careful not to get hit. Of course, I also visited Neuschwanstein Castle, which is very impressive and beautiful. The Frühlingsgarten was a very tasty restaurant where I ate. I can only recommend a visit.
