Provence offers a variety of good hiking trails that lead through the hinterland and past beautiful fields of flowers of every imaginable colour and aroma. Apart from that, however, the region is rather poor in sights, it is also relatively expensive and the food was rather mediocre, or rather I know it better from France. However, there are at least a few beautiful beaches and bays where you can swim or get a tan in summer.

Provence is quite expensive and it was already a bit crowded for March. What I did like was the region's delicious wine, the small villages, which all looked very nice and, above all, some lavender fields, which are always suitable as a photo motif. Overall a nice region, but there are, in my opinion, more beautiful regions in France. Aix-en-Provence, the most famous city in the region, offered few sights.
