Even though Paris is certainly one of the more expensive cities, my week in the city really was an outstanding experience. I think all culture and art lovers cannot avoid having been to Paris once in their lives, the city has so many wonderful theatres and museums and of course the Louvre, which is unmissable. There are also plenty of opportunities for shopping fans in this fashion metropolis. Quite simply, the Champs-Élysées shines in particular. There are numerous options for getting around the city by public transport (bus, underground, suburban train, Uber, taxi, e-scooter), so you don't need your own car. Of course, the further you drive out of the city, the more unsightly the neighbourhoods become. If you are travelling to Paris with your family, I would definitely not recommend driving out into the banlieues, as it can be really dangerous.
The Eiffel Tower is of course one of the highlights, and both the park surrounding it and a trip to the top are really worthwhile. Then, of course, there is the Luvre with all its famous works of art.
One of my insider tips is definitely the cellar bars, which often only open in the evening and are located in the side streets. Here you can also spend really fun evenings with the locals and see a bit of the nightlife.
I would definitely recommend Paris, it is one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world.

We spent a long weekend in Paris in October. I can only recommend the city. We stayed in the ninth district, in a small hotel with a balcony. I can only recommend the location. It's easy to get to Montmartre and the centre of Paris. In terms of sights, we visited the Louvre and the Louis Vuitton Museum. We actually wanted to go to the Dior Museum, but unfortunately everything was fully booked. I strongly recommend booking in advance, we had great weather. So we took a boat tour on the Seine. We went to numerous bars. The atmosphere in Paris is great, it's intoxicating. I can only recommend the city to all art and culture lovers. There is something for everyone.
The highlight of Paris is definitely the city itself! The Louvre with the Mona Lisa is very touristy but super interesting! The boat tour along the Seine is also beautiful! And
Pink Mamma (eating) and the cabaret show at the Crazy Horse
There is something for everyone! The city is very diverse and beautiful!

Overall, Paris is a really beautiful city that everyone should definitely visit! It has a great atmosphere with really beautiful houses, streets and parks. The people are also super friendly and nice! Unfortunately, Paris is very loud and very touristy, so it's crowded everywhere. It's also relatively expensive. But the charm is great and definitely worth the experience! You should definitely climb the Eiffel Tower! The view is incredible and well worth it! The best way to get around is by public transport. Great city!
I would definitely recommend a trip to the Eiffel Tower. Definitely a boat trip and a visit to the Louvre. Lots of opportunities to go for a walk.
Visit the top of the Eiffel Tower!
Because Paris has a great charm and is a beautiful city!

My girlfriend and I travelled to Paris in October. The city is highly recommended. Beautiful neighbourhoods with lots of great cafés, nice people, a super relaxed atmosphere and wonderful sights, but the prices in the restaurants are quite expensive. In general, Paris is highly recommended, especially for couples of all ages.
Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay
The restaurant "Café Gustave" is highly recommended. Nice location and good value for money.

My week in Paris was truly unforgettable and exceeded all my expectations. The city of love mesmerised me with its impressive architecture and romantic atmosphere. The Eiffel Tower was definitely a highlight and was simply breathtaking both during the day and at night. The Louvre not only impressed me with its art treasures, but also with its impressive glass dome. Culinary-wise, I tasted my way through cosy bistros and lively markets. I particularly enjoyed Montmartre, where I drank the best coffee in Paris. The restaurant "Le Comptoir" du Relais was a culinary highlight. The "Escargots" and the "Coq au Vin" were simply delicious. Getting around by metro was extremely efficient and easy to use. I can also recommend walks along the Seine. They are ideal for getting away from the big city feeling. On my next visit, I would try to avoid the crowds at the well-known sights and concentrate on the less touristy neighbourhoods instead. Overall, my week in Paris was a perfect mix of culture, culinary delights and romantic atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to exploring the city even more on my next visit. A must for every city lover!
The view from Montmartre with its charming alleyways and the breathtaking view of Paris was the highlight of my trip.
A little insider tip for Paris is the Canal Saint-Martin. Very beautiful there.

If you are coming from the UK, the Channel Tunnel and many ferries to Calais and Caen makes it possible for you to arrive in France with great ease.
This famous city can be found in the North of France in the region of Ille de France and one of the first stops for many when visiting Paris is of course the Eiffel Tower. Constructed in 1889, this famous landmark attracts over 7 million visitors every year because of the breath-taking views at the top. With three different levels to go up, go as high as you wish! You can find the Notre Dame de Paris, a mere 15-minute walk away from the Eiffel Tower. The Gothic structure is breath-taking and is a great sight to see during your city breaks to Paris.
The Moulin Rouge is also a popular tourist destination because of its musical dance entertainment. After the self-titled film and many other publications about cabaret, the Moulin Rouge became a popular location for residents and tourists alike. The cabaret fever even spread to Amsterdam during the 19th Century and to Chicago in the 20th Century and is now popular worldwide. For those who like museums, there is a special Paris Museum Pass available at most tourist offices, which you can purchase and therefore go in over 70 different landmarks in Paris.
For those coming with the whole family including younger children, the famous Disneyland Resort Paris is ideal to spend your time during your Paris city breaks. With two parks to choose from, the Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park, you can meet Mickey Mouse and his friends, as well as going on all of the rides. Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain are perfect for those roller-coaster fans and it is worth sticking around during the evening as the night-time show completed with fireworks and a parade. This theme park can be found just outside Paris in the area of Marne La Vallee.
Throughout Paris there is a large selection of cafés and restaurants available. Sample the traditional French cuisine including French soups, cheeses and for those with a sweet tooth, crème brulee or mousse au chocolat. If you are hesitant about trying the French specialities, then there is a wide range of other eateries available from everything Italian to Chinese and Thai. If you wish to continue the party afterwards, nightlife is also world class here. Surrounded by locals and tourists alike in the bars and clubs here, make sure you sample the French wine as the country is famous worldwide for its top-quality wine, made in local vineyards. The wine capital is after all Bordeaux, which would make another perfect city break for you and your loved ones if you enjoy exploring vineyards.
If you are concerned about how to get around in Paris, there is a great metro service which has regular trains and trams going throughout the city. No matter where your Paris holiday rental is, you will find it easy to get around and get to the locations you wish to visit. If you are stuck on ideas about where to stay in Paris, the Montmarte district and the Batignolles district are two great locations. Choose from a variety of holiday apartments Paris has to offer right in the centre of the city, to make travel easier. Paris is a great base for European travel as it is served by three international airports, as well as 6 main train stations and is one of the primary stops for the Eurostar, making it easy for you to travel on to different locations after you've spent a few days in the city. You can catch a plane here to countries all over the world and get trains to places such as Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, and more. Of course, you can also travel around within France itself, to places such as sunny Nice on the Côte d'Azur, Marseille and Versaille, amongst many others. Wherever you decide to go to, enjoy your travels!
The museums in Paris are some of the best in the world. Just like in a film, fall in love all over again whilst walking with each other around the museums and taking in the French culture. Some of the best ones to see are the Musée d’Orsay, Musée du Louvre and the Musee Rodin. Experiencing the museums and culture together will broaden both of your minds and make great memories for you both when you go on a romantic weekend break to Paris. You can’t go on a romantic trip to Paris without going on a walk with your loved one along the River Seine.
