You must sample the French cuisine whilst visiting the city of Nancy and the region also has many specialities to offer. The quiche Lorraine is a savoury quiche made up of cheese, cream and bacon and is available in many of the cafés and restaurants in the area. The Munster cheese is also a speciality of this region and you have to sample this delicious tasting cheese! For those with a sweet tooth, the Madelieine cake is a dessert you must try and why not wash it down with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. If you enjoy the French cuisine here, make sure you plan a trip to Strasbourg in the future as this city is heavily influenced by the Germans as it lies on the French-German border.
