Mon is an island in south east Denmark and is part of the Zealand region. It's well-known for it's beautiful white chalk cliffs, which prove to be the most popular attraction of the island. Holiday homes Mon also offer a great countryside, sandy beaches and quaint towns to visit. Take a stoll up to the White Cliffs of Mon (or Møns Klint as the locals know it) and find yourself 128 metres high at Dronningestolen (or ''the Queen's Chair"). From here you can see the important habitat the cliffs provide for a variety of flora and fauna and you will get some spectacular views. On a clear day, you can see as far as Sweden and to the German island Rügen. There are many points along the cliffs where there are stairs down to the beach so you can really enjoy your holiday in Mon holiday apartments.
The Geocentre is also near to Mon holiday apartments and would be great fun for the kids while on a family holiday. The centre is a multimedia exhibition about the creation of the cliffs, as well as including displays of fossils and a setup of a landslide. Holiday homes Mon are a great way for accessing other Danish islands too as they aren't far away from Bogo and Falster.
