This comfortable villa is situated just a few hundred meters from the beach (600 m), in the village of Callantsoog, in North Holland. Part of a small, quiet holiday park accessible only to residents and adjacent to the forest. The tourist village of Callantsoog with various shops and bars / restaurants is within walking distance. The beautiful Zwanenwater nature area is a few minutes away.
Around the house there is a large, enclosed garden which offers you lots of privacy so you can enjoy the Great Outdoors in peace and quiet. The spacious sun terrace with picnic table along with its detached location distinguish this villa from the other villas of the park. At the house you can park two cars.
The park is suitable for both young and old, for couples or families looking for tranquility, for beach goers and nature lovers. In the middle of the park there is a play island decorated with a pirate ship, football field, table tennis table, boules and much more.
This villa with thatched roof, white plastered walls and authentic shutters is attractively furnished and equipped with all the modern comforts.
On the ground floor there is a large living (dining) room with color TV with DVD recorder, a kitchen, hallway, separate toilet and utility room. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom with a shower, bathtub and bathroom furniture. The bedroom (for parents) has a large double bed and is equipped with a TV and DVD recorder. In the 2nd bedroom there are three single beds.
The house is heated by a central heating system and downstairs there is a tiled floor with underfloor heating. There is an internet connection in the house. Please don't smoke inside the house.
There is a baby bad, but you need to provide for the blankets and for the bed linen.

Surroundings Callantsoog / Groote Keeten
Callantsoog has the narrowest dune row and also the highest dune in the Netherlands. From the village, you are almost right on the beach or at one of the six pavilions. In 2002 and prior years, Callantsoog received the "Blue Flag" designation from the European Union for having a clean and safe beach.
'Het Zwanenwater' Nature Reserve
In the dunes, just south of Callantsoog, lies the "Het Zwanenwater" nature reserve. It has an area of 580 ha. A beautiful dune area with two large dune lakes, marshes, ponds, moors and woods. From March to August one of the largest spoonbill colonies of Europe stay here. Moreover, there are many rare plants here like wild orchids, along with flowers and herbs. Furthermore, this is a breeding ground for more than 70 bird species. The nature reserve, with its varied landscape and exceptional flora and fauna, is only partially accessible (for a fee). Members of the Society for the Preservation of Natural Monuments in the Netherlands have free admission. In the spring there are vast flower fields in the hinterland. Alkmaar is famous for its cheese market, Den Helder for its naval port or the unique IJsselmeer ports such as Medembblik, Enkhuizen, Hoorn, Volendam and Marken. In the hinterland of the Kop van Noord-Holland there are small villages and towns waiting to be discovered by you. Numerous roads and paths through the alternating area offer the cyclist a multitude of possibilities.
