Hands down, Ibiza dominates the west side of the Mediterranean as the top party destination, and throughout all of Europe the island is rivalled only by the Greek island of Ios or Ayia Napa in Cyprus as a destination for intense festivity with the largest selection of clubs, and the most unrelenting migration of “party tourists” from all over the world.

Experience Balearic charm in a finca in Ibiza

In the southeast of the Balearic island, the guest will find everything that makes a good vacation: beach, sea, enough shopping opportunities and countless restaurants and cafes. You can also discover the hidden side of the island city with its historical treasures during a vacation in the vacation apartment in Ibiza Town. If you want to look around a bit in the nightlife of Ibiza, Marina Botafoch is the right place. The neighborhood around the marina is known for the hottest clubs in town.

Experience the famous Ibiza nightlife

People live by night in Ibiza, and they do so quite extravagantly. Nightlife in Ibiza is, as expected, spectacular, but with so much saturation, you must know where to go to really make a hit. With regular sets from some of Europe's best DJs, from the likes of David Guetta and Calvin Harris, Ibiza apartments are definitely the dream for anyone looking to party. Privilege is the largest nightclub in the whole world, with enough space to fit 10,000 clubbers – be sure to go out on the right night though, otherwise this huge space may end up feeling vastly empty! The Armada is a particular favourite on the island, and regularly hosts DJ duals that are amazing in terms of their ingenuity as well as the fame of the artists. The nightclub Space is a madhouse with a capacity of 8000, with room for as much as 40 DJs a night. Other popular nights out include Cream on Thursdays at Amnesia, Insane on Fridays at Pacha, and Kisstory, run by KISS FM, on Tuesdays at Ocean Beach, an outdoor party venue complete with a pool.

Sit back and relax on the beach

By day, Ibiza offers a stunning landscape and some of the world’s most pristine fine-sand beaches that beckon your summer spirit to relax in the warm sunshine. After the partying dies down and you stumble out of the club in the early hours of the following day, you may end up resting on one of these beautiful beaches till the sun goes down. Recommended beaches in Ibiza are Las Salinas, San Antonio and Playa d’en Bossa. If you can’t manage any sleep, then make sure to take advantage of all the great water sports available to island holidaymakers – swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing and more. For a quieter, less tourist-oriented beach atmosphere, head to Cala Salada, a little cove surrounded by a forest of pine trees. If you head to the caves around the sea you'll discover cave paintings dating as far back as the Bronze age.

Ibiza apartments – not just about the nightclubs

Ibiza villas don't have to just be an opportunity for a clubbing or beach holiday – there is plenty to do if you're looking to explore the island with the family. If you're tired of lying on the beach all day then why not visit some of the island's many historical sights? Ibiza's cathedral dates back to the 14th century, but also has a Baraque feel to it due to some major renovations in the 18th century. There is even a small museum comprising of religious art work inside. If you're interested in ancient history make your way to the Necròpolis del Puig des Molins, a collection of over 3000 tombs dotted around this hillside burial ground. During your stay in Ibiza apartments why not take a walk along the Ramparts, the protective walls surrounding Dalt Vila? The journey offers some beautiful views of the Port Area along the way.

Finding Ibiza’s hidden treasures

While partying is one of the main things to while visiting Ibiza, a great way to recover is by taking a walking tour from Isla Blanca in the North of the island. Discover the stunning views that the island has to offer and learn about some of its history. Maybe take a late or early morning tour and watch the incredible sunset or sunrise which is one of a kind that little part of the world and will be a truly one of a kind experience as the sky fills with oranges, yellows, reds and pinks creating a water colour painting effect.

Sail on the Ibizan waters

Take advantage of being surrounded by the gorgeous crystal-clear waters that are temptingly inviting you to jump in to cool off from the heat. Experience a taste of luxury and take a private boat charter around the gorgeous waters of Ibiza, drink champagne on the deck while sunbathing and feel the salty sea waters air in your hair. It’s a great way to see more of what the island has to offer while also feeling like a real treat and something that doesn’t happen in your everyday life usually.

Culture, food and music what more could you want?

A great place to visit is Dalt Vila, perched at the top is a stunning castle, walk up the steep slope over the drawbridge and under the archway for some amazing cultural views with a very Game of Thrones feel for those big fans. Every year the IMS hold an outdoor concert right at the top of the castle making it an even more magical and out of this world feeling and experience with the classic party atmosphere that Ibiza is famous for. This corner of Ibiza only gets better, along its tiny twisting cobbled streets are some of Ibiza’s best hidden food treasures, explore all the different restaurants there to find some of the best culinary delights that it has to offer.

Shop and eat till you drop

Apart from exploring all the fabulous shops to find a great outfit for your next night of partying until the sunrises, a great place to visit is the Las Dallas Hippy Market. Not only does the name of the market sound like great fun but there you will be able to find pretty much anything and everything from clothes to jewelry to wonderful leather accessories. However, of course one of the most important things to mention is the fabulous food, with so many stalls of great smelling fresh food delights there is no way to pick between them and the only thing to do is try everything. So maybe make sure to get all your clothes shopping done and work up an appetite ready to take on all the gorgeous food.

Events: Noche San Juan, Festes de la Terra and Medieval Festival.

All over Ibiza, locals and guests welcome summer at the Noche San Juan on June 23. The festival is particularly big in Sant Joan in the north of the island. Here daredevils jump over fires, while bargain hunters are thrilled by the arts and crafts market.

At the beginning of August, Ibiza Town celebrates its patron saint Santa Maria de les Neus at the Festa de la Terra. Atmospheric parades and performances by folklore groups await. Music and a diverse gastronomic offer round off the festive program.

On the second weekend in May, the medieval festival to Dalt Vila attracts guests and locals. In the historical walls of the city in the southeast of Ibiza, fanfare sounds and minstrels provide background music. At more than 200 stalls you can buy traditional food and arts and crafts.
