Other major cities in Crete include Iraklion, Ayios Nikolaos, Rethymnon, the last of which is pitched even further into Crete’s “Wild West”, where you'll find lots of great Crete holiday villas and plenty to explore and see. Delve right into the Old City by day, an incredible maze of architectural splendor. Nightlife in Rethymnon is enjoyable, although real fun is found back in Chania, whose Old World charm mixes with modern sins to create a scintillating, romantic experience.
